Project description - Norwegian
Waves is a conceptual album by von Krogh that explores bipolar disorder, mental health, and the inner movements of the human being. The music is cinematic, dark, and emotional – shaped like waves between intensity, silence, and breakdown.
The album stems from personal experiences and is created to convey what it can feel like to live with bipolar disorder – not to explain or simplify. This is music that allows for nuance, contradictions and vulnerability.
Producing Waves physically is an important part of the project. A physical release gives the album permanence, weight and visibility – and allows it to meet the listener in a deeper way.
10% of sales proceeds go to Paper Moon Society, a non-profit arts and culture project working to elevate the conversation about mental health. By pre-ordering Waves, you're supporting both a physical release and a larger artistic cause.
Expected delivery: spring 2026.
Project description - English
Waves is a conceptual album by von Krogh, exploring bipolar disorder, mental health, and the inner movements of the human mind. The music is cinematic, dark, and emotionally driven — shaped like waves between intensity, stillness, and collapse.
The album is rooted in personal experience and seeks to express how living with bipolarity can feel, rather than explain or simplify it. This is music that allows space for nuance, contradiction, and vulnerability.
Producing Waves as a physical release is an essential part of the project. A physical edition gives the album permanence, presence, and depth — allowing it to connect with listeners in a more lasting way.
10% of all profits will be donated to Paper Moon Society, a non-profit art and culture initiative focused on mental health awareness. By pre-ordering Waves, you support both a physical release and a wider artistic purpose.
