TRiNA

TRiNA, the stage name of Trine Charlotte Askjem, was born and raised in Tønsberg and currently lives in Ringshaug. She has sung all her life, and her voice has always been her most important expression – both on and off stage.

After a few years away from music, she found her way back in full force around 15 years ago. It was the start of a new and stronger musical period, characterized by both personal development and broad stage experience. For the past 10–15 years, she has been a sought-after vocalist for a number of bands in Vestfold, in genres such as soul, blues, rock and pop.

For the past 7 years, TRiNA has been the lead vocalist in the band Ragdolls, known for energetic concerts and a mix of genres with a clear groove and joy of playing. In parallel, she has built her own artist project and released four of her own songs under the name TRiNA in recent years – music that combines honesty, strength and melodic nerve.

TRiNA is a communicator. She doesn’t just sing the songs – she tells them. The audience encounters an artist with warmth, authority and real presence, whether she stands alone on stage or with a band.
