MONNE is a Norwegian singer-songwriter whose music exists between light and shadow, past and present. With a powerful and unmistakable voice, she creates songs shaped by melancholy, movement and quiet joy—painting emotional landscapes that feel both intimate and cinematic. Her lyrics are thoughtful and playful at once, revealing an artist full of contrasts.
Often described as slightly otherworldly, MONNE carries the presence of an ancient soul. Through her music, she takes listeners on a journey across time and inner worlds—at once modern, visually evocative and deeply moving. Every element of her work is crafted with care, creating a universe that feels immersive and sincere.
She has been writing songs since the age of 13 and reached the national finals of UKM three times during her youth. In 2018, she fully committed to her own artistic path, releasing her debut album Digging In My Soul (2019), followed by Jungle of Emotions (2021). Both albums were produced by Spellemann Award winner Geir Sundstøl, with contributions from acclaimed musicians including Erland Dahlen, Terje Støldal and Markus Linge.
